Çayeli Bakır - the first private mining company with an Authorised Economic Operator Certificate

Çayeli Bakır, one of the underground mining organisations of Turkey, has become the first private mining organisation to earn the right to receive the Authorised Economic Operator Certificate, issued by the Ministry of Customs and Trade.

Çayeli Bakır, which has put its name to numerous innovations in the mining sector, has become the first mining company in Turkey to earn the right to receive the Authorised Economic Operator Certificate, after intensive endeavours lasting approximately 8 months. To-date, 299 companies from different sectors have earned the right to gain this international status, which allows for concessions in customs procedures and makes them simpler.

Çayeli Bakır, which is one of the biggest exporters of Turkey in the mining sector, has earned the right to receive the Authorised Economic Operator Certificate, which is issued by the Ministry of Customs and Trade to reputable companies which fulfil their customs obligations, have a regular and traceable registration system, are financially capable and possess safety and security standards, adding yet another achievement to its accomplishments in the field of exports.
