Our crews are prepared for emergencies.

• Mine Rescue and Fire Fighting Teams are well equipped and qualified to respond to emergency that could conceivably occur at the surface or in the underground.

• We regularly test our preparedness for emergency situations with periodic drills.

• We have received an award from the Canadian Miners Association for our "Readiness for Emergencies and Response Program.
