We have reduced the level of noise at our site in line with feedback from our neighbors.

• Mining activities at Çayeli Bakır İşletmeleri being executed underground and location of the ore processing facility in a closed structure positively contribute to noise management.

• In addition to measurements and modeling by an accredited laboratory within the scope of the ‘Environmental Permit’, environmental noise is monitored at nearby settlement units within the scope of the Environmental Monitoring Program and feedback from the community is considered in this respect.

• Measures are taken and surface activities are restricted when required in accordance with the site surveys and measurements to decrease the level of noise from operational activities at source.

• A significant reduction of noise is achieved with the implementation of noise barriers for at mine drilling sites.
