The amount of dust in our operations is monitored regularly.
• Ore is extracted with underground mining methods at ÇayeliBakırİşletmeleri; therefore the amount of dust which can be emitted in the air from the mining facility is very low.
• Dust emissions are prevented with dedusting systems.
• After concentrated ore (the final product) is loaded onto trucks, thetruck tires are washed and the dust is prevented from getting onto public roads. Also the trucks are covered with automatic canvassing systems to prevent any leakage of dust emissions.
• As per the environmental legislation, particles and deposit dust are monitored within the scope of the Environmental Monitoring Program in addition to confirmation measurements repeated by accredited laboratories on periodic basis and all necessary measures are taken.
