FIRST QUANTUM MINERALS LTD.
First Quantum Minerals Ltd. is an established and rapidly growing mining and metals company currently operating seven mines and has five major mining projects under development. It currently produces copper, nickel, gold andzinc metals.
The Company's current operations are the Kansanshi copper-gold mine in Zambia, the Guelb Moghrein copper-gold mine in Mauritania, the Las Cruces copper mine in Spain, the Pyhäsalmi copper-zinc mine in Finland, the Ravensthorpe nickel-cobalt mine in Western Australia, and the Çayeli copper-zinc mine in Turkey.
In addition, First Quantum Minerals Ltd. is developing projects in Zambia, Peru and Panama that when complete, will increase its annual copper production capacity to more than 1.3 million tonnes per annum.
